Atiku Abubakar was born in Adamawa on November 25, 1946 to a Fulani parents. Atiku Abubakar’s father was a farmer while his mother was a trader. Although, his father was not in support of his son having western education, he had to because of the stringent rule on education that was in existence then. He lost his father at age 11 and his mum, much later, at 38.
