1. Basilica of Our Lady of Africa, Algiers (Algeria)

This church is located in Algiers, the capital city of Algeria, a predominantly Muslim country. This beautiful edifice was first constructed in 1858 and by 1872, it was inaugurated. This masterpiece of a church building is indeed a beauty to behold.

2. Archangel Michael’s Coptic Orthodox Church, Aswan (Egypt)

This church also is situated in North Africa, Egypt precisely, where Muslims dominate. It is the largest church in all Egypt and the Middle East and it was consecrated in 2006.

3. Casablanca Cathedral, a.k.a Sacred Heart of Jesus, Casablanca (Morocco)

Another really beautiful church building located in North Africa. This edifice commonly known as a cathedral never had a Bishop. It is located in Casablanca, Morocco and it was built in 1930 but it ceased to be a church in 1956. 11. Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro (Cote d’Ivoire)

This church building is located in the capital of Cote d’Ivoire which is obviously Yamoussoukro. It is designed according to the style of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. This magnificent edifice was constructed at the cost of $175-$600 million. The church building was completed in 1989.
